1 of 88 Produced

SOLD. This 1940 Packard One Sixty business coupe is 1 of just 88 examples produced! Business coupes were designed for travelling salesman at an affordable price and normally based on a manufacturer's most basic model. Yet Packard elected to offer the One Sixty in a business coupe body. The One Sixty is a Senior Packard with a Super Eight engine and dual side mount spare tires - only 88 customers signed up for one. The back seat is eliminated to allow space for product (although there is a fold out jump seat). I think it's safe to say that the salesman who ordered a Packard One Sixty business coupe was at the top of his game! This particular Packard sold new in San Francisco and remained in California until 2011 when it joined the Gene Cohen collection in Sarasota Florida. It was restored years ago while in California and still shows very nice. The Super Eight motor is teamed to a three speed manual transmission with overdrive. The odometer indicates 65,000 miles which is believed to be correct but the title states odometer exempt due to the vehicles age. Asking $65,000 obo. For details call Dave Murray at (407) 592-5039.
