1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 Sold
38,000 Miles - 1 of 1,806 Produced
The Boss 351 is a one year only model and its solid lifter 351 cubic inch V8 engine is capable of launching it through a quarter mile in under 14 seconds, making it among the fastest vintage Mustangs to ever leave the showroom floor. All were 4 speed cars and most were light on options. Production was low with only 1,806 built. How many have survived? How many still retain their original drivetrain? How many low mileage examples remain with original paint? I'm sure the answer to these questions is a very small number making the Boss 351 we're offering here an exceptionally rare find at a very attractive price. A new world record price was set earlier this year when a red Boss 351 with 800 original miles sold at auction for $192,500! Several others have recently sold at auction in excess of $100,000. This Boss is equipped with power steering, power brakes, AM radio with 8 track tape player, chrome Magnum 500 wheels and Firestone Wide Oval tires. It's paint code is "6" Acapulco Blue and the paint is believed to be original as is the white interior. The car runs and drives excellent. It has that certain tightness that's typically only found in low mileage original cars. Please call Tom or Dave at (407) 428-0116 for details. Shown by appointment.
