SOLD. An exceptionally nice Diamond Jubilee Edition Mark V with the optional 460 ci V8 engine, dual exhaust, factory CB radio and power moonroof. The "DJE" was built to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Ford Motor Company and at that time Lincoln stated it was the most luxurious car they had ever offered. The original MSRP surpassed $21,000 in 1978 - by comparison a new Corvette had a base price of $9,351. This example sold new to Virginia Selby of Midland Texas and it remained in the family for over 30 years. It's very original and in outstanding condition. The special tool kit, leather bound owners manual and factory umbrella are all present and the car recently completed a 900 mile trip with no issues. $32,900 obo.
