Ex August "Gussie" Busch Private Coach

This exceptionally clean MCI-9 Land Cruiser was built by Custom Coach of Columbus Ohio for Anheuser-Busch brewing magnate August "Gussie" Busch Jr. who was chairman and CEO of Budweiser for nearly 30 years (1946-1975). Gussie is credited with making Anheuser-Busch the largest beer brewer in the world. This unique coach is setup as a corporate hospitality suite and was used by Mr. Busch when attending horse events. The interior is reminiscent of a personal rail car that the nations wealthiest would travel the country in. The bus features a galley kitchen, a shower and a bathroom, all located at the rear of the coach - the rest of the floor plan is wide open. The long sofas convert to twin beds and the dinette can also be made into a bed. This is a 40 ft coach powered by a Detroit diesel 8V71 engine teamed to an Allison four speed automatic transmission. It's equipped with a diesel powered Kohler 10KW generator and 3 roof airs. The bus also has brand new tires and batteries. All the original books and manuals are present. In 2010 the previous owner sent this coach back to Custom Coach where it received new paint, new burgundy carpet with a custom tan vinyl runner, new upholstery and a number of other improvements at a total cost of $36,000. The paint and upholstery match the way it was when delivered new. Call Tom or Dave at (407) 428-0116 for vehicle details. All cars are shown by appointment. Please be sure to call or email before visiting as we do not keep regular hours at our warehouse. Thanks for looking!
