SALE PENDING. One Owner - 1 of 15 Built. Rare Series III Roadster. The Excalibur Automobile Company produced 263 Excalibur's in 1978 of which only 15 were the two seat roadster variant. This is an exceptional original example. It's a one owner Excalibur with original paint (a bit faded) and original leather interior that's still soft and supple (drivers lower corner needs repair, see photo). The chrome, trim and stainless are outstanding. Another outstanding feature with this particular Excalibur is the original paperwork which accompanies the car. It has its owners manual, warranty booklet, window sticker, pre-delivery inspection report, sales brochure, first registration and the original letter from Excalibur acknowledging receipt of the order plus many other pieces of documentation. The wire wheels are brand new from Dayton (the original supplier) and it has new radial whitewall tires. Powered by a Chevrolet 454 V8 with functional side exhaust which was standard equipment on the Series III models. Also equipped with automatic transmission, power steering, power four wheel disc brakes, cold air conditioning, two tops and genuine leather upholstery. The car runs and drives very good. It would be a remarkable show car with a proper paint job or can be driven and enjoyed "as is". The odometer indicates 36,950 miles which is original and noted as "actual" on the Florida title.
